主妇之谜

简介：Evelyn Prentice is a respected wife of a high-profile New York attorney. Despite her status and the prestige she enjoys, she often feels neglected and bored. When she becomes involved with an unscrupulous womanizing poet, she seeks out his attention, which she craves. Eventually, she finds herself a victim of blackmail and becomes embroiled in the murder of a man who was accused of the crime. When another woman is accused of the same crime, Evelyn begs her husband to defend her. Despite her pleas for help, he refuses to do so, leaving her alone and vulnerable to further harm.
