Average Texas teenager, Billie Jean Davy, is caught up in an odd fight for justice. She is usually followed and harassed around by local boys, who, one day, decide to trash her brother's scooter for fun. The boys' father refuses to pay them back the price of the scooter. The fight for "fair is fair" takes the teens around the state and produces an unlikely hero.
As they travel across Texas, the teens encounter various challenges and obstacles. They must navigate through the rough terrain of the state, battle against corrupt officials and outlaws, and ultimately find a way to bring justice to their cause.
In the end, the teens emerge victorious, and Billie Jean becomes a symbol of hope and resilience. She inspires others to stand up for what is right, no matter how difficult it may be. And as she rides off into the sunset, the young heroes know that their journey has only just begun.
