A singer loses her husband in an automobile accident. Shortly after the incident, she witnesses two narcotics agents being murdered. She experiences a mental breakdown as a result. The police believe that all three murders are connected, given their suspicion that her husband was involved in a heroin smuggling ring. They suspect she may have been involved too, especially since they found a large stash of heroin hidden in her apartment.
