In a small Scottish village, horribly murdered bodies keep turning up. Suspicion falls upon the residents of a nearby castle that is haunted by a curse involving a killer cat. Inside, she finds a bloody altar with a macabre scene of a woman being tortured and killed. They are trapped in the castle and unable to leave until they are freed from the curse. With the help of her team, Dr. Bennett and her assistant, Dr. Davidson, attempt to break the curse by performing a ritual that involves a sacrifice. However, the curse is too powerful and the ritual backfires, causing even more deaths. Dr. Bennett and Dr. Davidson are forced to flee the castle, leaving behind a trail of bodies behind them. As they escape the castle, they encounter a strange figure that appears to be the spirit of the previous owners. They try to reason with the figure, but it becomes increasingly aggressive and violent. Finally, they manage to convince the figure to leave the castle before it's too late. Dr. Bennett and Dr. Davidson make their way back to civilization, determined to uncover the truth behind the castle's curse. They continue to investigate and uncover more evidence of the previous owners' crimes, including evidence of their involvement in illegal activities such as human trafficking and slavery. With the help of a local priest, they finally manage to free the spirits of the previous owners from the castle's walls. The curse is lifted and the spirits are able to leave the castle and find peace. Dr. Bennett and Dr. Davidson return to Scotland and continue their work as investigators, using their knowledge and expertise to uncover the truth behind any other cases they come across.
