"The Driver" is a skilled getaway driver in the rare profession of robbery. His exceptional talent has allowed him to successfully escape police capture yet again. After another successful heist, a confident detective sets his sights on capturing The Driver. He offers a deal to a gang: if they help set up a robber, they will receive leniency in punishment. The Driver turns to Isabelle for assistance in deceiving the detective.
