After the Mousekewitzes have settled in America, they continue to face issues with cats. This prompts them to consider moving to a new location, promising them peace between mice and cats. However, this new home is in the west, where they are promised that there will be no more conflicts between the two species. Unfortunately, one of the residents of this new home is an oily con artist named Cat R. Waul, who is intent on his own sinister plans. Unaware of this, the Mousekewitzes begin their journey into the west, while their true cat friend, Tiger, follows them, hoping to follow his girlfriend in the same direction.
