In the suburban neighborhood of Mumbai, a wall separates the haves and the have-nots. Sudhir and Seema, a newly married middle class couple, live a life without hardship while Vishwas, a slum dweller, dreams of dignity for his people. Their lives collide as post nightfall the town fills up with ominous cries and moans that don't belong to people - they belong to zombies.
Sudhir and Seema are in their early thirties, living comfortably in a three-bedroom apartment in the heart of Mumbai. They are both doctors by profession and have been blessed with two beautiful children. They enjoy weekend outings, fine dining and often spend lavishly on holidays overseas. Their lives seem perfect until one fateful night when a mysterious outbreak takes place.
The next day, the entire city is in chaos. The streets are filled with dead bodies, and people are running around in panic. The police are trying to contain the situation but it's proving difficult. The infected roam free in the streets, killing anyone they come across. People start dying from bite wounds and the smell of death fills the air.
Sudhir and Seema, along with their children, decide to leave their comfortable home and move into a safer area. They find themselves in a small apartment block in an uninhabited part of the city. They soon realize that this is not a safe place either. The walls are covered in graffiti, and there are loud noises coming from behind them. They also notice that many of the other residents are infected.
Vishwas, who has been living in a slum near their new location, comes over to help them. He tells them that he knows a way out of the city. Together, they venture out into the dark streets, hoping to make it to safety.
As they walk, they hear strange sounds coming from a nearby building. They approach cautiously and find a group of infected people inside, feasting on each other. Seema screams and runs back towards the safety of her home. Vishwas tries to protect her but is bitten himself.
They run back to their apartment block, where they find it locked down. They try to open it but it's jammed with infected people trying to break in. They hear gunshots and shouts coming from outside. They hide behind a door and wait for the situation to pass.
When it's quiet again, they emerge and find that they can still move freely within the building. They go through the rooms, checking for any signs of infection. They find some food supplies and water, and decide to stay put until they can figure out what happened.
Meanwhile, Sudhir and Seema continue to be cautious. They hear strange noises coming from outside their apartment block, and they feel uneasy. They decide to check out and see what's going on. As they go outside, they see that the streets are deserted and the infected are nowhere to be seen.
They return to their apartment block and take shelter from the rain. They discuss what might have happened to their neighbors and wonder if they will ever be able to get back to normal life. They hope that the authorities will manage to contain the outbreak and bring peace back to the city.
In the meantime, Vishwas continues to live in the slum. He works tirelessly to care for his family and friends, trying to keep them safe from the infected. He also helps others in the slum who are struggling to survive. He hopes that they can all pull through this crisis and emerge stronger than before.
