Dr. Nikki Alexander and Jack Hodgson are both looking forward to the future, but as they begin to uncover buried secrets and memories from their pasts, they find themselves increasingly drawn together. When ghosts from their past emerge, however, tensions rise between the two, making it harder for them to maintain a relationship that is supposed to be based on respect and understanding. The arrival of Adam Yuen (Jason Wong) throws this delicate balance into chaos, as he immediately rubs Nikki and Jack up the wrong way. But will Adam find his own way to fit in and last at the Lyell? As the show's twenty-fourth season begins production, the stakes are high for everyone involved.
