Dylan Wilson, a wealthy man who has recently purchased seven paintings to hang in his estate, is unaware of the horrors that await him and those around him. These paintings represent the seven deadly sins, with each one representing a particular vice: Pride (self-righteousness), Lust (sexual desire), Gluttony (eating too much), Sloth (indolence), Greed (materialism), Envy (envy), and Wrath (wrath).
When these paintings are unveiled for Dylan's wife, Gina, their college son, Louis, their teen daughter, Donna, and their two little kids, they unleash a curse upon them. The paintings become alive and possess the victims, causing them to fall into various vices such as pride, lust, gluttony, sloth, greed, envy, and wrath.
Father Mendale, who knows the history of Dorian Wilde and the dark forces that made these paintings, realizes that Dylan and his family have unleashed evil on themselves. He and Louis' girlfriend, Kim, must work together to save Dylan and his family from the curse before it consumes them all.
The story follows the journey of the characters as they try to overcome the curse and find a way to reclaim their lives. Along the way, they encounter other characters who share similar experiences and learn from each other's struggles.
As the curse continues to take hold of Dylan and his family, they begin to see the consequences of their actions and realize the importance of redemption and forgiveness. They must also confront their own demons and work towards healing and reconciliation.
Ultimately, the story explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the power of forgiveness. It shows that even when faced with darkness, there is still hope for redemption and the possibility of a better future.
