Claudia and Maria, two young women from different backgrounds, roam the streets of Guatemala city. Claudia works at a call center and is generally uninterested in the world around her, while Maria lives with her mother and has a more spontaneous lifestyle. One night, they are attacked by three men while walking home from their jobs. Despite their efforts to escape, they are unable to do so and end up being beaten up. After the attack, Claudia is faced with a dilemma: should she seek revenge against the attackers or follow her grandfather's advice to stay calm and avoid confrontation? Claudia is torn between her desire for justice and her fear of retaliation. Her grandfather, who is an activist, tries to persuade her to join his cause by telling her about the injustices that exist in society and how it's important to fight for change. He also mentions that he has connections with some powerful people who might be able to help them. Maria, on the other hand, is more spontaneous and believes in taking action when necessary. She doesn't want to let fear stop her from standing up for what she believes in. As they contemplate their options, they realize that they have both been victims of violence in their own ways. Claudia had her attackers break into her house and steal her belongings, while Maria was once raped by a police officer. Both experiences have left deep scars on their hearts and have made them question their place in society. With her grandfather's guidance, Claudia decides to take matters into her own hands and plans to confront the attackers. She knows that it could be dangerous, but she also knows that it's important to stand up for what's right. Meanwhile, Maria decides to keep her head down and focus on her studies. She knows that she can't change the world overnight, but she hopes that she can make a difference in her own way. The next day, Claudia confronts the attackers and manages to scare them away. She then goes to her grandfather's house to tell him about her experience and ask for his advice. He tells her that it's okay to feel anger and frustration, but that it's important to channel those emotions in a positive way. In the end, both Claudia and Maria come to understand that they can't change the world alone. They need each other and the support of their communities to create a better future for themselves and others.
