Peter convinces Fran not to miss her school reunion, hoping to avoid the obnoxious braggart rival Jill, who has married a surgeon named Frank. He suggests bringing along even more desirable Elliot, who agrees at the gym to play the part. Peter tries out an app designed to detect homosexuality. Despite ignoring the group's warnings against hoping for Elliot to develop feelings for her, Fran hopes he will fall in love with her and they stage an intervention.
