Colleen, a young nun, has been avoiding all contact with her family since she returned to her childhood home in Asheville, NC. Upon returning, she finds that her old room is exactly as she left it: painted black and adorned with gothic and metal posters. As she explores the room, she notices a strange symbol on the wall.
As she continues to study the symbol, Colleen begins to feel a strange connection to it. She feels drawn to it and can't resist the urge to touch it. Suddenly, the room begins to shake and shake violently. Colleen realizes that she must be experiencing some kind of spiritual awakening.
With a sense of unease, Colleen decides to leave the room and venture outside into the night. As she walks through the streets of Asheville, she begins to feel a strong presence following her. Colleen turns around to see a figure dressed in black standing behind her.
The figure steps forward and reveals itself to be a priest from the local church. The priest explains that he had noticed Colleen's unusual behavior and decided to investigate. He tells Colleen that she has been chosen by the Church to undergo a special initiation ceremony.
Colleen is taken aback but agrees to go through with the ceremony. As she enters the darkened room, she feels a surge of energy coursing through her body. The priest begins to chant in Latin while holding a candle in his hand. Colleen closes her eyes and begins to chant along with him.
Suddenly, the room fills with a blinding light and Colleen is lifted off the ground. She feels herself being transported to another dimension, where she is met by other nuns who have also undergone the initiation ceremony. Together, they are led to a large stone structure, which is filled with glowing crystals.
As they approach the crystals, Colleen feels a sense of peace wash over her. She realizes that she has been granted a special gift by the Church: the ability to communicate with those who have passed away. With this newfound power, Colleen is now able to help others find their place in the afterlife.
