A condemned thief is desperate to save his life and wants to donate a kidney to an ill businessman in exchange for a lighter sentence. The businessman, who is suffering from a serious illness, agrees to the deal. The thief, who has been sentenced to life imprisonment for his crimes, is now facing the possibility of death. He knows that he has only one chance at saving his own life, and he decides to take it. He meets with the businessman, who is in a hospital bed, weak and sick. The businessman explains to him that he needs a kidney to survive, but he also needs the thief's help to avoid execution. The thief agrees to the deal, and they arrange for the surgery. The operation goes smoothly, and the businessman recovers well. However, the thief soon realizes that he made a mistake. The businessman is not actually ill, but he has been faking his illness in order to get the thief to help him escape from prison. The thief is now trapped, and he is forced to accept his fate. The story ends with the thief, still condemned to life imprisonment, being taken away by authorities, while the businessman remains behind as a free man.
