A fisherman contends with an ocean-borne outbreak that threatens his seaside island community. The disease has already spread to the nearby fishing village, and there is no sign of it slowing down. The fisherman, a brave and resourceful man who has lived on this island for years, must now find a way to protect his family and friends from the deadly virus. As the days pass, the fisherman begins to notice strange behavior in the water. His beloved catches seem to be disappearing, and he can't shake the feeling that something sinister is at work. He decides to investigate, but when he dives into the depths, he finds himself face to face with a creature unlike anything he has ever seen before. The creature is massive, with gnarled skin and glowing eyes that seem to reflect the darkness of the ocean. It attacks him, but the fisherman is prepared for this. He knows that he must fight for his life and those of his loved ones if he hopes to survive. With all his strength, the fisherman manages to fend off the creature, but not before taking a hit to the leg. As he struggles to swim back to shore, he realizes that the creature may have infected him with the virus. He makes it back to the beach, where he collapses onto the sand, weak and defeated.
