Marshall, Gilbert, and Amy are 12-year-old friends who have recently discovered a mummy in a neighbor's basement. They are intrigued by the mysterious creature and decide to name him Harold after their favorite football team. As they explore the basement, they discover that Harold has been preserved for centuries. They are fascinated by his intricate details and marvel at the skill of the ancient Egyptians who created him. However, they soon realize that they must hurry and return Harold to his resting place before midnight on Halloween. They quickly gather some tools and begin the process of reanimating Harold.
