Hannah, Gavin and Dimitri are scientists on board the RUBIKON space station, working on an algae project aimed at providing humanity with a reliable source of oxygen and food. But all of a sudden, the earth beneath them is enveloped in a brown, toxic fog and their communication devices fail. Are they the only survivors? Should they risk their lives by attempting to return to Earth or stay onboard the space station and wait out the situation? What is truly worth living for, and what could be worth dying for?
