Catherine Bomarzini (Sherilyn Fenn), a young woman from Italy, is deeply moved by the death of her father and returns to her family castle in search of closure. Initially excited about the prospect of spending time with her best friend Gina (Charlie Spradling), Catherine soon finds herself drawn into a whirlwind of emotions as she becomes involved with a mysterious and charming local magician named Lawerence (Malcom Jamieson).
As they explore the carnival outside the castle gates, Catherine and Gina are captivated by the performances and acts taking place. Enthralled by the magic, they decide to invite the head magician and his crew for dinner at the castle. However, things take an unexpected turn when Catherine is drugged and seduced by Lawerence, leading to a love triangle that is both intriguing and dangerous.
The attraction between Catherine and Lawerence is further complicated by the presence of a creature of the night who seems to have a profound effect on both of them.
