白魔鬼[电影解说]

Young couple Madeleine and Neil are persuaded by acquaintance Monsieur Beaumont to wed on his Haitian plantation. Beaumont's motivation is purely selfish as he makes every effort to convince the beautiful young girl to flee with him. To obtain assistance, Beaumont turns to the cunning Legendre, a man who runs his mill by mind-controlling people he has turned into zombies. After using Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, Beaumont becomes dissatisfied with her emotionless state and wants her to be changed back. Legendre has no intention of doing this and he drugged Beaumont as well to add to his collection of zombies. Meanwhile, grief-stricken "widower" Neil is convinced by a local priest that Madeleine might still be alive and he seeks her out.
