Fist Of Fury III, starring Bruce Li as the brother of Bruce Lee's character who seeks revenge on Japanese fighters that killed his brother, is a better film than its predecessor. Despite being inferior to Bruce Lee's original work, this installment offers a standard kung fu action movie with improved handling of fight scenes and a strong climax involving a thunderstorm.
Bruce Li's performance is charismatic but not as powerful as his brother's. The film is not a great masterpiece, but it stands as good as these kung fu films can be. A nice touch is the return of the English Intrepeter from Bruce Lee's Return Of The Dragon, along with crisp directing in Bruce Lee's style.
If you're looking for an easy-to-find film, this one may not be worth your time; however, if you have access to bargain bins or collections of Kung Fu movies, it's definitely worth checking out.
