Mario is a retired detective who has spent his life investigating lost and found items. He now lives in a large warehouse filled with all kinds of objects, including clothes, furniture, and other belongings that have been lost over the years. Mario has long since decided to distance himself from people and spends his spare time investigating the provenance of these objects.
One day, while searching for a lost suitcase, Mario comes across a young policewoman named Helena. Helena has been assigned to investigate the warehouse's activities and has managed to break through Mario's armour. She is initially skeptical about Mario's intentions but decides to follow him into the warehouse.
Inside the warehouse, Helena finds a suitcase that was retrieved from the bottom of a river. Inside, she discovers baby clothes next to some human remains. Realizing that this could be evidence of a human trafficking organization, Mario decides to investigate on his own.
Helena follows Mario's lead and tracks down Sara, a young woman who has been trapped in a human trafficking organization since she was a child. The organization treats its members as if they were mere objects, exploiting them for their labor.
As Mario and Helena work together to uncover the truth behind the human trafficking organization, they realize that it is not just a matter of justice but also a call to action to help those who are being exploited. Together, they work to bring the traffickers to justice and bring closure to those whose lives have been stolen.
