Veronica Iscariot, a demigod from Hell, is uninterested in tormenting the souls of damned sinners but instead chooses to ascend to the world above. She finds our world filled with evil and corruption, and decides her mission in life is to punish the wicked and evil. As she travels through the realms, Veronica encounters a doctor named Max Harris. Max, who tends to her wounds after an accident, becomes her confidant and protector. As they journey together, Veronica falls in love with him, but he remains skeptical of her intentions. Despite their differences, Veronica and Max work together to combat the evil that threatens their world. Together, they use their powers to defeat demons and cleanse the land of corruption. In doing so, they also discover a connection between them that deepens their bond. As they near the end of their journey, Veronica realizes that her true purpose is not to punish but to heal and bring balance to the world. With Max by her side, she returns to the world below, ready to embrace a new life as a guardian angel.
