The epic adventures of the legendary Baran the Bandit, following his release from prison after 35 years. The world has changed dramatically since his imprisonment, and he is shocked to discover that his beloved village has been submerged due to the construction of a new dam.
Baran sets off for Istanbul to seek revenge on his former best friend, who betrayed him and stole his lover Keje. Along the way, he teams up with Cumali, a tough young punk who finds the thief's outdated methods rather quaint.
