Grover Beindorf and his younger sister, Stacey, are in a difficult situation. Their parents, Janet (Curtis) and Ned (Pollak), have decided to get a divorce, and Grover and Stacey feel desperate about the situation. They decide to take matters into their own hands by locking their parents in the basement and declaring their intention to keep them there until they reconcile. When their friends find out what they have done, they all agree that their misbehaving parents deserve the same treatment!
