逆戟鲸

Beto is a lonely man who works as the ranger of the isolated Peninsula Valdes' National Park (Chubut, Argentina). He has a deep love for nature and animals. His days are peaceful, watching orcas, seals, and sea lions in the sea. However, his life takes a turn when he meets Lola, a Spanish mother with her autistic 11-year-old son Tristán. After seeing him in a documentary about whales, Lola decides to travel to the peninsula from Madrid to find Beto. Lola is desperate and asks Beto for help in order to provide therapy for Tristán, hoping that his isolation due to autism can be overcome. Beto initially refuses, but after some persuasion, he agrees to help. Together, they sail by boat to meet orcas, a rare opportunity for Tristán to express emotions. As time goes by, Tristán starts to slowly express emotions, just like how Beto's boss tries to fire him because he believes orcas are dangerous killer whales. Meanwhile, Lola realizes that there is something familiar about Spain and that she and Beto might have a connection. She begins to suspect that they are related, and this realization leads her to seek out more information about Beto's past. As their relationship deepens, Lola and Beto discover that they have a shared history that connects them, leading them on a journey of self-discovery and understanding.
