Christmas is supposed to be a time for peace and joyous family reunions. But when Matt and his wife Karen show up unannounced at the home of his estranged brother Steve to celebrate the holidays, they are instead greeted with a horrifying surprise: trapped in the basement is a man. But not just any man. Steve believes that his hostage is none other than the devil himself. As the couple tries to figure out what happened, they hear footsteps coming from upstairs. They rush upstairs to find the source of the noise - only to be confronted by their brother's wife, Lisa, who is holding a gun and pointing it at them. "You have no idea what you've done! You're responsible for my son's death!" Lisa screams. Matt and Karen try to explain that they were just there to visit and had no reason to harm anyone. But Lisa refuses to believe them, and her anger grows as she demands that they leave the house immediately. As they try to escape, they realize that Lisa is not alone. A group of men dressed in black are following them, and one of them points a gun at Matt and Karen. "I'm not going to let you escape," he says. Matt and Karen try to fight back, but they are quickly overpowered. As they are dragged away, Matt turns to Karen and whispers, "We need to find a way out of here." They begin to search for an escape route, but their efforts are in vain. The men are relentless, and soon they are surrounded by more armed men. In the chaos, Matt and Karen manage to grab a small toolbox from the floor and use it to smash a window. They climb through the broken glass and make their way outside, where they are met by a group of friends who have been watching their every move. "We knew you were coming!" one of the friends says. "We need to get you out of here," another adds. With the help of the friends, Matt and Karen finally escape the basement and make their way back to safety. But as they look back at the house, they see that Lisa has disappeared, along with Steve's wife and son. The holiday season may seem like a time for joy and love, but it can also be a time of unexpected danger. Matt and Karen learn that even the most seemingly peaceful gatherings can lead to deadly consequences if not handled properly.
