A man from London, who had been living in a small remote village in Serbia for some time, came to look after the cemetery. He started to have nightmarish visions and suspected that the friendly villagers had a more sinister intention with him. One day, he was walking through the village when he saw a group of people gathered around a large stone monument. He approached them cautiously and asked what they were doing. They told him that they were performing a ritual to honor the dead. The man from London was puzzled by this and began to ask questions. The villagers explained that they believed that the spirits of the dead still roamed the earth and needed to be appeased. They offered him a small offering of food and drink to show their gratitude. Despite his initial suspicions, the man from London agreed to participate in the ritual. As the sun set and the sky grew darker, he felt a strange energy emanating from the monument. It was as if the spirits of the dead were reaching out to him, beckoning him closer. Suddenly, he heard a faint whisper in his ear. It was a voice that seemed to come from all around him, yet it was not audible. The man from London felt a chill run down his spine and realized that he was not alone in the village. He tried to turn and run away, but he found himself being pulled towards the monument. The villagers were chanting and singing in unison, and the man from London could feel their energy growing stronger and stronger. As he stood before the monument, surrounded by the spirits of the dead, he knew that he had made a grave mistake.
