Haleem, a Syrian refugee who was granted refugee status in Germany, is forced to return to Syria after his family is deported. He finds himself in Korea, where he works illegally at a construction site and meets an unregistered Arab resident named Riyadh. They form a close bond and Haleem helps Riyadh pay off his father's debts.
However, Riyadh falls into a serious accident and dies after being chased by immigration officers. The church elders and ministers try to use Riyadh's organs for their church main elder's transplant surgery, which Haleem refuses. This causes a religious conflict between him and the other Arabs around him, leading them to misunderstand him.
In the end, Haleem is forced to leave Korea and returns to Syria. He struggles to find a place to stay and work illegally at a construction site while trying to support his family.
