In a Bulgarian mountain village, where prejudice is rampant and the social divides are deep, a summer romance blossoms between two boys from vastly different worlds. Victor (27), who lives a comfortable life in Madrid with his partner Jose, returns to his childhood home in Bulgaria for his grandfather's funeral. During his stay, he decides to spend the summer in the village. As Victor reconnects with his father and the traditions of the village, he finds himself drawn to Liuben, an 18-year-old Roma boy. Despite their age difference and the cultural differences that separate them, they find solace in each other. As the summer progresses, Victor and Liuben develop a strong bond based on their shared experiences and interests. They explore the mountains together, share stories from their respective pasts, and even fall in love. However, as their relationship grows, it becomes clear that their differences will continue to be a challenge. But with the help of their friends and family, they work through their conflicts and come to terms with their differences.
