图腾诅咒

"Curse of the Totem" is a story set in the 13th century during the reign of King Raja I, who was known for his cruel and unjust rule. The main character is Dr. Sani, who has been sent on a mission to find his wife, who had gone missing during an expedition to study the ancient mythical legend of the Jerunei tribe in Borneo. The Jerunei were a group of people who believed that human sacrifice was necessary to bring them good luck and prosperity. This belief was so strong that it led to the practice of sacrificing humans as a means of appeasing the spirits of the dead. However, this practice was eventually outlawed by the Sarawak Province in the 18th century. Dr. Sani and his team are searching through the dense jungles of Borneo, hoping to uncover more information about the Jerunei's beliefs and practices. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges, including strange hallucinations, malicious disturbances, and even being possessed by evil spirits. As they continue their search, things take a dark turn when one of their team members is completely possessed by an evil force. This possession leads to a series of events that threaten the safety and well-being of all those involved. Throughout the story, Dr. Sani and his team must navigate through the complexities of human nature, supernatural forces, and corrupt rulers to uncover the truth behind the Jerunei's beliefs and practices.
