As an art restorer, she ventures to a small Italian village to bring back a medieval painting that has been damaged by time and neglect. Little does she know that her actions have unleashed a curse that threatens to consume her life. The painting, once a masterpiece of medieval art, is now faded and cracked. The restorer, with her passion for preserving history, sets out to restore it to its former glory. But as she works, strange occurrences begin to occur around the village, and the restorer begins to suspect that there is more to the painting than meets the eye. As she uncovers the secrets of the village and the painting's origins, the restorer finds herself in danger from an evil force that seeks to destroy her.
