Auctioneer André Masson is thrilled to uncover a rare Egon Schiele painting in the heart of East France, a Nazi-confiscated masterpiece that could make him one of the most successful auctioneers in the world. However, this discovery could also spell disaster for his career, as it may be the final piece in a long line of art he has lost over the years.
Together with his ex-wife Bertina and eccentric intern Aurore, André embarks on a mission to recover the painting, but their journey is fraught with danger and challenges. They encounter Nazi collaborators, hidden Nazi treasures, and even a mysterious man who seems to know more about the painting than anyone else.
As they race against time to find the painting before it falls into the wrong hands, André must confront his own demons and past mistakes if he hopes to save his career and reputation. With a chance at redemption or ruin, André must decide whether to risk everything or let the painting slip through his fingers forever.
