Four friends, eager to escape the bustling city for a much-needed break, decide to visit an secluded country house for their birthday celebration. However, as they settle in for the evening, they receive a mysterious knock on their doorstep. The visitor is a man, injured and terrified, who tells them about a city he has just escaped from. He describes the city as being completely devastated by a mysterious epidemic, with looters everywhere. The man claims that he was chased by these looters and that he had no choice but to flee into the countryside. As they listen to his story, the friends begin to worry about their own safety. They realize that the man's tale may not be entirely true, and they decide to investigate further. That night, as the group gathers around the fireplace, they discover that there is something strange going on. The man seems to have been acting oddly ever since they arrived, and there are strange noises coming from the woods nearby. Feeling uneasy, the friends decide to investigate further. They venture out into the darkness, following the man's directions. As they move deeper into the forest, they begin to notice strange occurrences: strange shadows moving in the trees, eerie sounds coming from the bushes, and strange smells wafting through the air. Suddenly, a group of looters emerge from the darkness, brandishing weapons and yelling at the group to surrender. The friends panic and run, but the looters pursue them relentlessly. In the chaos, one of the friends manages to escape and make it back to the house, where he calls for help. The others join him, and together they try to figure out what is happening and how they can stop the looters. As they work together, they realize that the man's story may have been a lie, and that the epidemic may not have been as deadly as he claimed. But they also realize that they are in grave danger, and that they need to act quickly if they hope to survive the night. With their lives hanging in the balance, the friends must fight for their survival against the looters and whatever other dangers may be lurking in the darkness.
