The film follows the story of a promising cello student named Elsa, who is celebrating her friend Idoia's exclusive birthday party at a high society event. As she enjoys the festivities, she receives an unexpected phone call from her mother. Her mother asks her to perform a piece for a wealthy businessman, which will force Elsa to choose between her future and her dignity.
Elsa initially agrees to play for the businessman, but soon realizes that it may be too risky. She decides to decline the offer, but her mother insists on having her play for them anyway. Elsa is hesitant at first, but eventually accepts the challenge.
As she prepares for the performance, Elsa finds herself questioning whether she is making the right decision. She worries about how her mother will react if she fails, and whether she will ever be able to play again. However, she knows that she has to give it her all in order to honor her commitment to her friend and her own dreams.
The performance is a success, and Elsa receives praise from both the audience and the businessman. But even though she feels relieved to have succeeded, she still struggles with the weight of her decision to play for her mother. In the end, however, she realizes that she made the right choice by prioritizing her own dreams over her family's expectations.
