Roscoe and Buster, two friends operating a combination garage and fire station, embark on a day filled with both success and mishap. In the first half of their day, they successfully clean up a car left for them to do so. This task not only earns them some extra cash but also strengthens their bond as partners.
As the sun sets and the evening approaches, however, things take a turn for the worse. Roscoe and Buster decide to go off on a false alarm, hoping to draw attention away from their own building. Unfortunately, their plan backfires when they return to find their own building on fire.
