In 1661, the Baron Vitelius of Astara is sentenced to be burned alive by the Holy Inquisition of Mexico for witchcraft, necromancy, and other crimes. As he dies, the Baron swears vengeance against the descendants of the Inquisitors.
300 years later, a comet that was passing overhead on the night of the Baron’s execution returns to earth, bringing with it the Baron in the form of a horrible, brain-eating monster that terrorizes the Inquisitor’s descendants. The Inquisitor’s descendants are forced to flee their homeland, seeking refuge in distant lands.
The Baron’s spirit haunts the land, causing chaos and destruction wherever it goes. Those who dare to cross its path must face its deadly embrace. The Inquisitor’s descendants seek out powerful magicians and warriors to defeat the Baron and restore peace to their land.
As they journey through time and space, they encounter countless obstacles and dangers. They must use their wits and courage to survive, while also facing the Baron’s relentless pursuit.
