The Colonials, struggling to survive under the brutal rule of the Cylons, were finally rescued by Galactica when they returned to Earth. However, the Fleet resumed their search for Earth once the Colonials had been saved. The Cylons, after losing control on New Caprica, decided to embark on a mysterious quest for Earth.
