Lera is a sociologist at a small town university. She has a mother who is a sleepwalker and believes in miracles, while her father left the family for another woman. Lera struggles to improve her life, as she is unsure of how to make things better. Additionally, there is a spirit that visits her dreams at night, which increases with the harder her life gets. However, it all changes when the spirit steps into the world of the living.
