This City is Ours is a gripping crime drama set in Liverpool. The story follows Michael, a man who has been involved in organized crime for most of his life and works for his friend, Ronnie, the gang leader. When Ronnie begins to hint at retirement, Michael also starts imagining a different life, one where he can see beyond the daily grind and envision a future with someone else. For the first time in his life, Michael falls in love with Diana. He sees a future with her, something to win and lose - Diana. However, their love affair is threatened when Ronnie's son, Jamie, decides he wants to take over their gang and there is no place for Michael anymore. Both Michael and Jamie have bold ideas to modernise the gang and they will battle for control. But Michael’s biggest battle will be to save the woman he loves and the child he has always wanted.
