In the form of an old doll, a vengeful witch's curse from 1692 Salem is released upon a family trapped in a historic English mansion. The doll is said to have been created by the Witch of Salem herself and carries the power to grant any wish.
The family, consisting of a mother, father, and four children, are found in the attic of the mansion. They are all dressed in tattered clothing and their hair is disheveled. The doll lies on the floor next to them, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly light.
The mother picks up the doll and touches it gently, but as soon as her fingers brush against it, she is struck down by a wave of pain that consumes her entire body. Her screams echo through the attic as she collapses onto the floor, unconscious.
The father and children are equally affected by the doll's curse. They fall to the ground, unable to move or speak. Their eyes widen in terror as they watch the doll rise up and walk towards them, its steps heavy and deliberate.
As the doll draws closer, the family can feel its cold breath on their faces. Its voice echoes through the attic, a low and menacing whisper that sends chills down their spines.
"You will pay for your sins," it says. "Your blood will be spilled."
With that, the doll disappears into thin air, leaving the family alone in the attic. They lie there, paralyzed with fear, as they try to make sense of what has just happened.
It is only when they are rescued by a group of brave men who discover the family's hiding place that they realize they are not alone in the attic. There is another family, one that seems to be trapped in their own version of hell.
The two families are forced to confront their past and seek redemption before they can escape the curse that has been cast over their lives.
