人物生平
杰西卡-坦迪1909年6月7日生于伦敦，逝世于1994年9月11日。由寡母在伦敦养大，少女时代曾经学习戏剧表演，16岁在伦敦演出舞台剧，21岁到纽约献艺。23岁拍摄了两部英国片後，便全力在剧坛发展。1942年她和第二任丈夫休姆-克洛恩结婚，成为舞台上最受欢迎的夫妻档，她曾以田纳西威廉斯的“欲望街车”及另两出剧，赢得了三座东尼奖。1986年坦迪夫妇因对戏剧的贡献，在甘乃迪中心接受表彰。1947年起以《欲望号街车》及另外两出剧，赢得了三座东尼奖，被誉为“百老汇第一夫人”。在80年代她开始增加电影演出，先在1985年的老人科幻片《魔茧》令人大出意外，再于1989年以80高龄主演《温馨接送情》（又译《为戴茜小姐开车》）在奥斯卡封后，更为影史留下一段佳话；1991年还以82岁高龄出演《油炸绿番茄》，获得奥斯卡最佳女配角提名。1994年死于癌症。
