She had written twelve Poirot novels in six years, but was struggling to make ends meet. As her finances were depleted, she devised a plan to eliminate one of her most popular characters and sell the manuscript to a fanatic. When her intended buyer suffered a heart attack, it seemed unfortunate but not suspicious. However, when her manuscript was stolen, a more sinister conspiracy began to unfold.
