By day, they are high achieving students and daughters, but by night, they are ruthless thieves. The story begins with the arrival of a new girl to the neighborhood, named Anna. Despite being from a wealthy family, she feels unfulfilled and longs for something more meaningful. Her desire to escape her privileged life leads her to join the Barracuda Queens, a group of teenagers who share her sense of discontent. As they begin their criminal activities, the Barracuda Queens take on various guises, blending seamlessly into the lives of their victims. From stealing jewelry to breaking into homes, their crimes become increasingly sophisticated and elaborate. But as they commit their crimes, they also form a bond that transcends their criminal nature. Their first victim is a wealthy businessman named Mr. Birch. As they break into his luxurious home, they find him dead, having been killed by a poisonous snake hidden in one of his expensive paintings. The Barracuda Queens are shocked by the brutality of the crime, but they quickly realize that it was not their intention to kill him. Instead, they believe that he was trying to trap them. From that moment on, the Barracuda Queens vow not to let anyone get close to them again. They continue to commit their crimes, each time becoming more skilled at avoiding detection. But as they grow older, they start to question whether their actions are truly justified. In the end, the story ends with the Barracuda Queens facing justice. They are found guilty of all their crimes and sentenced to prison for life. However, as they walk away from the gates of their jail cell for the last time, they reflect on their past behavior and realize that they were wrong to have been so selfish.
