简介：**The Story of Joel and Dumitru** In 1996, during a transatlantic voyage, Joel, a devout Filipino sailor, was on board a ship. One day, he noticed a Romanian man named Dumitru hiding in some containers. If the Taiwanese officers, who were running the ship, discovered him, Dumitru would be thrown overboard. Joel decided to hide Dumitru as a sign of his gratitude towards God. However, as the days went by, a dangerous game began between Joel and Dumitru. Joel's crew members, friends, and even God started to turn their backs on him. Joel realized that he had to face his cruel destiny alone.
