简介：Sam, a young man who is blind due to an unfortunate accident in his youth, receives a call from Emily, a woman who is nearly blind herself. Emily is running from her murderous ex-boyfriend, who has been terrorizing her and her family for years. She knows that Sam can help her, but she needs him to guide her through the woods where he lives. Emily explains that she has been hiding out in the forest for days, trying to get away from her abuser. She tells Sam that she is afraid of what he might do if he finds her, and that she needs his help to survive. Sam agrees to help Emily, but he is hesitant. He has never had to rely on someone else's eyes before, and he is worried about how he will be able to help her. However, he also knows that Emily is in real danger, and he cannot just stand by and do nothing. So, Sam sets off into the forest with Emily, using their video call to communicate with each other. They navigate through the dense trees and overgrown paths, making their way towards Sam's home in the nearby town. As they walk, Emily tells Sam about her childhood and how her parents were killed when she was just a child. She says that she still has nightmares about it, and that she has never been able to fully heal from the trauma. Sam listens quietly, feeling sympathy for Emily's pain. He tries to reassure her that he will do everything he can to protect her and make sure she is safe. Finally, they arrive at Sam's home, where he leads Emily inside and shows her around his small apartment. He offers her food and drinks, and they chat about their hopes and dreams for the future. As the day draws to a close, Sam and Emily share a tender kiss, knowing that they have found each other in time.
