They begin to conduct their own investigation, using equipment that can detect paranormal activity. They find evidence that suggests the house may not be as cursed as the family believes, but rather as haunted. As they continue to investigate, they uncover more evidence that suggests the house is haunted. They hear strange noises coming from behind walls and ceilings, and they see apparitions of the family members that have passed away. Despite their best efforts, the team cannot find the source of the haunting. They are forced to admit that they may have stumbled upon the truth: the house is haunted, and the family is not responsible for the events occurring inside.
